Der Black Choir Cologne ist ein Chor für Schwarze Menschen und Menschen der afrikanischen Diaspora in Köln und Umgebung. Interpretiert werden Lieder vom afrikanischen Kontinents und von Schwarzen Künstler*innen. Darüber hinaus versteht er sich der Black Choir Cologne als Community Space für Austausch, Verbindung und Empowerment und für alle die Lust haben gemeinsam Zeit zu verbringen, zu singen und Musik zu machen.
Der Chor probt jeden Mittwoch in der 510 COMEDIA in Köln Mülheim. Neue Mitglieder sind an jedem ersten Mittwoch im Monat herzlich willkommen – es ist keine musikalische Vorerfahrung nötig.
The Black Choir Cologne is a choir for Black people and people of the African diaspora in Cologne and the surrounding regions. It performs songs from the African continent and from Black artists. In addition, the Black Choir Cologne sees itself as a community space for exchange, connection and empowerment and for everyone who wants to spend time together, sing and make music.
The choir rehearses every Wednesday at 510 COMEDIA in Cologne Mülheim. New members are welcome on the first Wednesday of every month - no previous musical experience is necessary.
